Lawrenceville Quarry
A national mining company operates over 300 quarries and sand and gravel facilities throughout Virginia. Resource has worked with this company for the last 12 years on the development of the quarry.
Resource has provided this quarry with multiple services, which included:
- Wetland Determination and Delineation Services
- Threatened and Endangered Species Surveys
- 401 and 404 Permitting for wetland and stream impacts
- Design and Construction Services to create award wining wetlands
- 5-year monitoring of the created wetland
- Education of home-schooled children on the functions and values of wetlands
Through proper planning, Resource wetland scientist have been able to add life to the existing facility and avoid the time and expense of establishing a new facility to service their customers.
