Prince George County
With high growth challenges from BRAC recommendations, Resource worked with the County to develop a more gridded road system that would support a higher density community on previously agricultural lands. This development of 369 acres proposes a new road system with three roundabouts and will support a new library, YMCA, School as well as apartments, commercial and industrial uses. This site will serve both local and regional needs and will be a special trademark for the client.
As one of the first, Resource helped staff review their Planned Unit Development ordinance. Resource also facilitated a citizen meeting to convey a development vision to the community and developed a rezoning application.
