The Resource International, LTD. survey department is managed by a licensed surveyor and includes field crews and associated office support personnel who are responsible for obtaining field data and converting it to plat, design and/or construction information for projects. Over the past five years, Resource staff has completed over 350 surveying projects. Resource uses both conventional surveying practices and the more technically advanced methods involving the use of satellite-based GPS (Global Positioning System). The horizontal and vertical control from these surveys are the very data bases from which GIS (Geographic Information Systems) evolve. Resource routinely provides surveys conforming to ALTA/ACSM standards. Trip surveys for utility designs, topographic surveys for site plans, wetland boundary surveys, and as-builts have been performed for engineering, environmental, electrical, mechanical, structural, geotechnical, and architectural design projects.
