Primrose Schools has been expanding its footprint across the United States. Based in Georgia, Primrose needed a local planning and civil/survey firm who understood local entitlement process and culture. To enable their movement into Virginia and North Carolina, Resource was chosen to work with Primrose in various parts of both states. Primrose relied on Resource to facilitate zoning and site plan approvals through the local review processes. Resource was happy to assist.
Strategy and Services
To help the owner understand the myriad local processes, Resource established a strong communication program that included weekly phone conversations, regular coordination with the locality and constant contact with other Resource professionals.
Resource worked with the local planning and development review staff to ensure that acceptable plans were provided and approved. In most cases, the final product was a 10,550 square foot building located on about 1.5 acres. Field visits, construction administration assistance and survey as-built drawings aided the construction and move-in process.
